Woodstorks in Delray

I took these while visiting the  Wakodahatchee Wetlands. A  park located in Delray Beach, Florida. The park was created on 50 acres of unused utility land and was  transformed into a recreation wetlands open to the public with amazing  wildlife and these Woodstorkes.

Bert Born!!!!!!! 76 days old Birthday

Bert was born this morning between 6 and 8 pm. He is 76 days old. BLESSINGS TO BERT and congrats to me his Mom.
he flew away into the garden. 76 days old my little Egyptian mummy.
I found him hanging on his loyal Dill Weed plant drying his wings, put him in a box and watched him until he left.
I shall miss my Bert.

BERT 75 days old !!!! Change has come. So excited

I THINK his Amniotic fluid burst. His water broke and that's what is making him black.

Something has happened. Could it be true? Could this be it? Could Bert be changing into a butterfly?  His little wood Sarcophagus has turned black.
I read that they do this when they are about to emerge.  I hope it doesn't mean something else!
